After months of threats from her husband, a Richardson mother of two was killed Sunday in a case of domestic violence.
Hanan Seid, 26, was shot repeatedly outside the apartment complex she moved to in order to escape her abusive husband, according to KDFW-TV (Fox 4).
Seid’s family and friends say 36-year-old Ahmed Abdela had threatened his wife with a gun and a knife repeatedly in the six months since the couple separated.

Seid was shot Sunday afternoon as she and a friend were returning to her apartment. Police say Abdela was waiting in the parking lot with a gun.
As the friend returned to his car, he heard shots, he said, and saw Abdela standing over his estranged wife with a gun.
Abdela then drove away, police said, firing at Seid’s friend. The friend was unharmed.

Sgt. Kevin Perlich with the Richardson Police Department said Abdela called authorities from a Starbucks about an hour after the shooting and “calmly told them he killed his wife and wanted to turn himself in.”
Seid, who had a 3-year-old daughter and an 18-month-old daughter, was a nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Her aunt, Furdows Yusuf, who is an advocate for domestic violence victims in Atlanta, spoke out following the shooting.
“She didn’t get a chance to defend herself or call for help. And the entire eight bullets went on her. No one deserves that, no one,” she said.
Abdela is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held in lieu of a $525,000 bond.
